150th Anniversary Campus Celebration
The 150th anniversary of the founding of UCSF, beginning with Toland Medical College in November 1864, will provide an opportunity for the entire UCSF campus community to reflect on UCSF’s rich history, celebrate our many contributions to healthcare, and to envision our future promise. UCSF and San Francisco have grown and prospered together from the Gold Rush era to the creation of the Parnassus campus on coastal shrub land, to the birth of biotech and the ongoing health science and technology renaissance at UCSF Mission Bay. This milestone is cause for celebration of our remarkable past and our visionary promise for the future. Visit the 150th Anniversary website for a historical timeline, profiles of our outstanding leaders in life sciences, and a schedule of 150th celebration events. UCSF.EDU/150

In commemoration of the 150th anniversary, the first 3,000 attendees beginning at noon will receive a special giveaway and a $5 150th-celebratory Bear Hug coupon good towards food at the event (valid only on October 8, 2014).
Special thanks to UCSF faculty, staff, and students. Join us in celebrating at the 150th Campus Celebration/Block Party 8!
