Faculty Diversity Training Modules
Program for School of Nursing faculty only. Faculty are contacted by DIVA to participate. Overarching Objectives: (1) To develop a culture of humility within the learning environment in the School of Nursing; and (2) To ensure that all faculty have the skills, tools, and comfort to engage issues of diversity. Participation is required of all new SON faculty and those teaching core courses within the MEPN, Master's and Doctoral Programs. Each 2 hour module will be offered twice per Quarter. CEUs are available for participants include: (1) Promoting Cultural Humility in the Classroom; (2) Inclusive Practices in Teaching; (3) Integrating Diversity into Courses and Curricula; and (4) Mentoring to Reduce the Diversity Gap.
