UCSF Anti-Racism Initiative
As an organization dedicated to improving health, UCSF has committed itself to dismantling structural racism and the impact of bias. We launched the Anti-Racism Initiative to advance equity and justice in our community. Our anti-racism efforts are focused on seven major areas of work.

The Office of Diversity and Outreach congratulates Malcolm John, who has demonstrated a deep commitment to reducing health care disparities and promoting health equity, and has forged trusting and productive relationships with under-resourced and disadvantaged communities throughout San Francisco.

The Chancellor Awards for Diversity recognize the outstanding efforts of individuals who demonstrate a strong dedication to diversity. Individuals recognized are leaders and pioneers in their respective fields and to the communities in which they serve.
