15 Years of Diversity and Inclusion
Rooted In Community
Since 2010, the UCSF Office of Diversity and Outreach has been committed to building a broadly diverse community, nurturing a culture that is welcoming and supportive, and engaging diverse ideas for the provision of culturally humble education, discovery, and patient care for all. As we celebrate our 15-Year anniversary, we recognize that our work is rooted in the advocacy—and bravery—of those who came before us. We honor their work and look forward to the road ahead.
Welcome to the 15th Anniversary Celebration of the Office of Diversity and Outreach at UCSF! We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements made in advancing equity, inclusion, and belonging across all aspects of our institution. Over the past 15 years, this office has been instrumental in fostering an environment where diverse voices thrive, and all individuals are empowered to succeed. The work we celebrate this year reflects the collective efforts of faculty, staff, learners, and community partners committed to creating a more inclusive UCSF. Together, we’ve made strides in addressing systemic barriers and enhancing opportunities for underrepresented communities. As we reflect on these accomplishments, let’s also look forward to continuing this vital work, ensuring that the next 15 years bring even greater progress toward equity for all.
